“Less is more” has been heard for several years now, often unfortunately as a cover for a lack of fantasy or bravura. Although it is mostly true within modern architecture, had mankind followed this principle, we would never have had castles or cathedrals to enlighten us. I still remember the excitement when discovering Versailles as a young child. I have always had a particular taste for abundance, exuberance, richness of colours, forms, ideas. Life on earth in its flamboyance does invite us to this and I feel particularly at ease when assembling a large amount of elements, which always opens ways for personal expression.
